4) Does WCETAU collect sensitive information?

This includes information about sexual orientation, religious beliefs, and memberships of professional or trade associations. This type of personal information is generally afforded a higher level of protection under the Privacy Act.

We have no reason to collect ‘sensitive information’  from you and therefore under the Privacy Act, no we do not collect sensitive information.

5) How and why does WCETAU collect your personal information?

Personal information is collected for the purposes of maintaining the integrity of the forum only and is not used nor distributed elsewhere. It enables us to monitor and moderate posts from individuals for the purpose of ensuring adherence to our forum Terms and Conditions.

6) How does WCETAU use or disclose your personal information?

We will not have cause to disclose your personal information, except for where we are required to do so by law.

We won’t sell your personal information to third parties.

If we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal information so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we will treat that combined data as ‘personal information’ in accordance with this Policy.
